Former Milton-Freewater resident Kayla Wright and Cole Larson, both of Newberg, Ore., wed Aug. 10, 2013, at the Byerley residence in Walla Walla. Richard Wright, the bride’s uncle, officiated.

Kayla is the daughter of Les and Susan Wright of Milton-Freewater. She graduated from McLoughlin High School and plans to graduate in May 2014 from George Fox University, Newberg, with a degree in nursing.

The son of David and Cindy Larson of Vancouver, Wash., Cole graduated from Hockinson High School, Bush Prairie, Wash., and plans to graduate in May 2014 from George Fox with a degree in field biology.

Katelin Wright was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Brynn Larson, the bride’s sister-in-law, and Miranda Cowan, Vanesa Rubio and Caroline Harper.

Joey Jeschky was best man. Groomsmen were Sean Atkins, Christian Whiles, Zac Atchley and Daniel Bordak. The bride’s nieces, Ella and Mia Wright, were flowergirls and the bride’s nephews, Cooper and Connor Wright, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Byerley home.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Anaheim and San Diego. They live in Newberg.
