A mobile boutique is setting up a permanent stop at Garden City Plaza.
Annie’s Trunk will open its new retail shop next week, according to an announcement from the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The business is expected to open Tuesday in the complex anchored by Journey’s Chow House at 119 W. Alder St.
Opened in 2011 by Nadine Messer and Susan Laabs, the operation has moved from spot to spot bringing its array of fashion accessories to customers. The mobile boutique will reportedly continue in special events while the permanent shop also carries goods.
Annie’s Trunk specializes in natural fiber accessories from around the world, including some fair trade and recycled products, according to a description. Scarves, hats, gloves, hair ornaments, camisoles, socks, bags and other items for women, plus a small assortment of men’s scarves and hats are offered.
