Students who make the grade could get discounts this winter at Ski Bluewood.
The Dayton area ski resort is promoting special savings for students this season. And just so those who at the head of the class don’t feel left out, there are even special offerings for teachers, too.
Operators have announced a new Honor Roller rewards program. Schools can sign up to participate. Those that do are provided $5 lift ticket vouchers for Honor Roll students. The vouchers save $33 per student.
A Teacher’s Ski Free Day series is also in the works. On designated days in December, January, February and March teachers and administrators can receive a free lift ticket in exchange for completion of a questionnaire at check-in.
A newly revamped “World’s Greatest Field Trip” package has also been in the works, the announcement said. For as low as $14 a student, classrooms can receive a lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental, group lesson and lunch. The program is offered to students in fourth grade and older.
The various packages are designed to emphasize a healthy lifestyle with physical activity by bringing the classroom to the great outdoors.
Included is the Ski & Snowboard Club Program, which allows any schools and/or groups that want to participate in multi-week lessons to sign up. The program ranges from three to six weeks and starts in January. For more information visit bluewood.com or email email@example.com .
