Loose change, a CB microphone, a key ring and radio knobs reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of Craig Street.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man on Saturday for stealing five bottles of booze valued at $230 from Super One Foods on Oct. 1.
Walla Walla County
Deputies arrested a 16-year-old at Jubilee Youth Ranch for breaking into the residential director’s office. The teen said he was attempting to retrieve items that belonged to him. The teen, was arrested on investigation of second degree burglary, was also arrested in September in connection with a spate of thefts in northern Walla Walla County.
A 69-year-old woman reported finding a “baggie” with suspected methamphetamine lying on Bryant Avenue between Wallace and Pleasant streets.
A truck driver swerved to avoid running into a train at the Dodd Road crossing after failing to see the flashing red lights due to foggy conditions. The truck and trailer struck the track: no injuries reported. The 57-year-old driver was cited for speeds too fast for conditions and no proof of insurance.
Deputies arrested an 18-year-old boy for possession of a marijuana pipe at the Walla Walla Corn Maze.

A white, 2008 Chevrolet pickup reported stolen from Main Street in Helix. The truck contained credit cards and a .223 caliber rifle, as well as a full tank of fuel: the truck was reportedly repossessed.
