A 24-year-old woman reportedly attempted to steal $320 in goods from Macy’s, including several bottles of cologne and perfume.
Vehicle window smashed in the 600 block of North Seventh Avenue.
A 21-year-old motorist struck a parked car near the intersection of First Avenue and Morton Street. Police identified the man from the front bumper and license plate left at the scene of the collision. When officers contacted the 21-year-old at home he explained he had been drinking and didn’t know where he was in the roadway. Police cited the man for no license, insurance and hit and run.
Walla Walla County
A Corn Maze staff member reported confronting a man who had urinated in the maze, Saturday. When deputies arrived they placed the 42-year-old man in handcuffs and questioned him. He stated he would “whip it out” in Walmart if he had to pee, but was concerned about being seen in public wearing handcuffs because it might damage his reputation. He was trespassed from the maze.
Bicycle reported stolen int he 000 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue.
Wanda Gayl Mountain, 65, of 53752 Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater, Tuesday. Charge: investigation of driving while intoxicated.

Stephen R. Gipson, 68, of 231 Bruce St., Waitsburg, Tuesday. Charge: investigation of first-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
