Who better to sell their wares at Wheelin’ Walla Walla Weekend than retailers on wheels?
At least four of the Walla Walla Valley Mobile Boutiques will be parked Saturday along “Ladies Alley,” a block of fun events targeted to the fairer sex throughout the weekend that features more than 300 vehicles on display downtown.
Lining Second Avenue between Main and Rose streets from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. will be Haulin’ Sass, Wayfarer Boutique, Xochi Mobile Boutique and Carovana Mobile Boutique. The boutiques offer a variety of wares out of vintage trailers made over into mobile stores.
Completing Ladies Alley will be the Walla Walla Sweets Rollergirls, who will be selling tickets to their final bout of the season, merchandise and water; The Moms’ Network; fresh food from the grill by the Smokehouse Wenches; and a roaming fashion show coordinated by Annelise Amantedelavida of Celebrity Henna with steampunk and vintage fashions from Door Number Two, Blue Window Vintage and the Kirkman House Museum. Participating wineries along the stretch, including at the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center, will offer specials, too.
