Walla Walla

Two plate glass windows reportedly smashed in the 1600 block of J street.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man for criminal trespass and minor consuming alcohol after receiving a report that two men were tampering with a motorcycle in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.

Cell phone reportedly stolen from a car at Washington School Apartments.

Sunglasses valued at $350 reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of South First Avenue.


A Prescott man reported someone broke into his house and rewired his microwave so it would turn on when the front door of his house was opened. Deputies suspect a less sinister reason for the melted microwave door.


Deputies arrested a 34-year-old man for domestic violence after he allegedly pushed his father over a porch rail: no injuries reported.

Jewelry and a saxophone reportedly stolen from a car at Sun Mart.

Lewd and gender specific epithet written on a car in the 100 block of Cherry Street for the second time in three weeks.

Deputies arrested a 47-year-old woman on investigation of felon in possession of a firearm following reports of erratic behavior in the 2200 block of Hanson Loop. The woman reportedly had been chasing other motorists with her vehicle, and then discharged a shotgun before being wrestled to the ground by a 55-year-old man. The 47-year-old woman was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation before she was lodged at the Walla Walla County Jail.

Camp trailer tires slashed in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Tools and other items reportedly stolen in the 200 block of Northeast Eighth Avenue.

Tire slashed in the 600 block of South Main Street.

An Eastside Road man reported he was trying to build a fence and his neighbor was knocking it over.

Propane buffer and pressure washer reportedly stolen in the 53000 block of Appleton Road.

A hen and 10 chicks reportedly stolen in the 54000 block of Birch Creek Road.

Umatilla County

Report of people racing cars on Highway 332 between Milton-Freewater and Umapine.

A man reported he saw a car pull over with a blown tire. When he investigated, he saw a woman behind the wheel “possibly passed out,” When the man went to call police, the car left the area.
