The Garden Vegan Café is back in business today.
Downtown Walla Walla’s vegan hotspot has been out of commission for a week after the storm that blew through town fried its point-of-sale system, said Luke Moore, who co-owns the business with Jesse Throgmorton.
By Wednesday afternoon, the migration of the old system’s hard drive was finally complete.
“I don’t know what happened but the motherboard on our system was totally fried,” he said.
The business, 230 E. Main St., oddly appeared to be the lone one suffering from damage of that extent on the block. Moore said the café was fortunately covered by insurance during the closure.
