DeSales boys lose late lead, fall to Knights

SUNNYSIDE,Wash. — DeSales’ boys dropped a re-scheduled basketball matchup with Sunnyside Christian, 56-47, Monday night.

The game was postponed from Jan. 7.

The Knights held a 25-20 halftime lead, but the Irish battled back to take a 36-35 lead into the final eight minutes.

But Sunnyside Christian turned on the offense in the fourth quarter to take the victory.

Cameron Richman scored 26 points to lead DeSales, with Darryl Galloway putting up 14.

Three Knights scored in double figures in the victory.

The Irish host Walla Walla Valley Academy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
